Charles (Charlie) Bakula, DDS

Doctor Charlie Bakula

Dr. Charlie Bakula is a St. Louis Native and attended college at the University of Kansas. Dr. Bakula was a patient at Ballas Dental Care for many years where he met Dr. Watanabe who eventually inspired him to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr. Bakula went on to attend Dental School at The University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Bakula joined Ballas Dental care in 2021 and became a part owner in 2023.

Dr. Bakula has a passion for learning and keeping up to date on the latest technologies and advancements in dentistry. In fact, he has invested over 400 hours in Continuing Education in pursuit of his Fellowship at the Academy of General Dentistry. His extra training is heavily involved in cosmetic dentistry, clear aligner therapy (invisalign), implant dentistry and CAD/CAM dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Bakula enjoys being a volunteer dentist for the Kaufman Fund. It's fulfilling for him to give back to those who fought for our country. When Dr. Bakula is not working; he enjoys playing golf, snow skiing, water skiing, playing the piano and attending blues and Cardinals’ games
